Moving
Shrink wrap is the fastest and most effective way to protect upholstered furniture during a house move. Wrap a sofa in 15–20 metres – the film clings to itself with no tape required, creating a dust-proof, moisture-resistant layer that keeps fabric clean throughout loading, transit, and unloading.
Tip: No adhesive touches the furniture surface – the film only sticks to itself, so it peels off cleanly with no residue on fabric or leather.
Storage
Furniture, mattresses, and appliances going into a self-storage unit need protection from dust and incidental moisture. Shrink wrap is the cleanest way to store a sofa or mattress long-term – far more effective than loose plastic sheeting. The tight wrap also prevents items from scratching each other in a shared storage unit.
Tip: For very long-term mattress storage (6+ months), leave one end slightly open to prevent condensation building up inside.
Container Shipping & Pallet Wrap
Goods being packed into a 20ft or 40ft container need to be secured against shifting during transit. Shrink-wrapping individual pieces and bundling groups on pallets reduces movement, prevents item-to-item damage, and keeps goods grouped by destination.
Airport Luggage Wrap
One roll wraps 3–4 large suitcases. The wrap is tamper-evident – any attempt to open the bag tears the film visibly – and protects zips, handles, and wheels from baggage handling damage. Airport wrapping services charge KShs 500–800 per bag; one roll lets you wrap the whole family’s luggage yourself.
